Welcome to VantaSpec: We're Officially Live (Sort Of!)

Hello everyone,

If you're building or upgrading a PC in the UK right now, you know how challenging it can be. Prices change daily across retailers like Scan, Overclockers, Amazon UK, and CCL, and 2026 has brought additional pressure with rising component costs due to AI-driven demand and global shortages. Finding the best value should not require constant monitoring of multiple sites.

That is why VantaSpec was created: a straightforward, UK-focused price comparison and specifications tool built for PC enthusiasts.

Where We Are Right Now

We have just pushed a significant update: 50 products are now live across key categories
GPUs are leading with 21 items (including RTX 4080 Super variants from Zotac, ASUS, and EVGA; AMD RX 7800 XT and 7700 XT; plus forward-looking models like the Inno3D RTX 5070 and Gigabyte RX 9070 XT)
Multi-retailer pricing is appearing where available (for example, the XFX RX 7800 XT ranges from £479.99 to £659.99 across two retailers)
Many items include benchmarked performance data for quick reference
Other categories are starting to fill: PC Cases (7), Motherboards (4), Coolers and PSUs (3 each), CPUs (3), and more

Visit the Products page to browse, sort by price, or search for your next component. The homepage highlights popular searches such as RTX 4090, Ryzen 9 7950X, DDR5 RAM, and Samsung 990 Pro to help you get started quickly.

The Honest Part: We're Still Building

You will notice the banner on the site: "Products are still being worked on please bare with us while we finalise our system."

This is accurate. We are in the early stages: The scraping and approval process is active and delivering results, with coverage expanding daily (hundreds more products are pending).
Some items currently show "No prices available" as we continue to add more retailer sources.
The blog and forum are just beginning (this is the first post).

The long-term goal is reliable, real-time UK pricing combined with detailed specs and benchmarks in one place, eliminating the need to switch between multiple retailer tabs.

Why This Matters in 2026

With RAM and other components experiencing notable price increases this year, informed shopping has become more important than ever. VantaSpec is designed to help you: Compare prices across UK retailers instantly
View benchmarked performance side by side
Identify the best current deals before they disappear
