Which monitor should I buy?

Tell us what you mainly use it for, the size and sharpness you want and what you want to spend. We shortlist monitors a UK shop has in stock right now, scored from their stated refresh rate, resolution, panel type and size against today's price.

How the shortlist is chosen

We start from the 373 monitors with an in-stock UK price read in the last two weeks and a stated size, resolution and refresh rate, and keep the ones that match your size, resolution and budget. For competitive gaming the refresh rate counts most, and OLED and 1 ms response help. For general gaming sharpness and smoothness count about equally. For work and creative use resolution and IPS or OLED colour count most. Each monitor then loses points for its price against your budget, so the list is the best fit for the money, not the dearest screen you can afford.
