How we rank
Highest estimated performance score first, the cheaper processor winning a tie. The score is worked out from core count and boost clock, with a small allowance for L3 cache; it is an estimate from specifications, not a benchmark we ran, and it tops out at 100, so several fast processors can share that score.
Only processors with a photo, a full spec table and a new, in-stock price read in the last two weeks are considered, so a part that is sold out everywhere drops off until a shop has it again. Refurbished and used stock is left out. Prices change through the day: check the shop before you buy. We may earn commission when you buy through a link on a product page; it never changes the order here.
