Poly Voyager Surround 80 UC Stereo Microsoft Teams Certified USB-C USB-A Wireless Headset

The Poly Voyager Surround 80 UC is a versatile wireless headset designed primarily for business use, offering a blend of connectivity options and comfort. With compatibility across PC and mobile devices, it features a USB-C connection, USB-A adapter, and a 3.5mm jack, making it a flexible choice for professionals who need reliable audio for calls and multimedia. Its on-ear design, complemented by an adjustable headband, ensures a comfortable fit for extended periods of wear, a key consideration for users in busy work environments. What Makes It Different? What sets the Poly Voyager Surround 80 apart from many other headsets in its class is its Acoustic Fence technology, designed to enhance call quality by minimising background noise. This distinguishes it from more budget-friendly alternatives by elevating the audio experience in noisy environments, which is particularly beneficial in open-office settings or while commuting. Furthermore, with a microphone sensitivity of -37 dB and an impressive headphone sensitivity of 132 dB, this headset is tailored for clear communication and immersive sound, making it more suited to professionals and business users than general-purpose headphones or entry-level models. The overall build quality and included accessories, such as a carrying case and charging cables, further enhance its appeal for serious professionals. Performance & Everyday Use The Poly Voyager Surround 80 features an impressive audio profile that allows for crisp communications and rich sound reproduction. Its sensitivity ratings indicate that it can produce louder audio without distortion, which is essential during long conference calls or while streaming media. Users can easily switch between wired and wireless modes, providing flexibility depending on their immediate needs, whether at their desk or on the go. The adjustable headband and artificial leather cushions contribute to user comfort, minimising fatigue during prolonged use.
