- HDDs: +3.9% on average across 15 parts (6 cheaper, 6 dearer)
- RAM: +2.4% on average across 49 parts (7 cheaper, 24 dearer)
- PSUs: +2.2% on average across 63 parts (7 cheaper, 18 dearer)
How we checked these
We compare shops' live prices against the last 7 days. A part counts only when the same shop listed it at both ends, the price held for six hours and the move is under 60% (bigger is nearly always a listing error). A fall must also leave the part under its own 90-day usual price. Popular parts are re-read most often, the rest about weekly. We list up to five parts per category.
